Knotty and Board is passionate about Interior Design and making your home gorgeous. Michael Fournier is a Naval Academy Graduate and Davidson Resident. Michael decided to fix up & refurbish furniture during covid. His wife Kim, a busy mortgage originator, shopped in her downtime. She had two college-age apartments to furnish & she was also helping her twin sister furnish their new mountain cabin. Michael noticed something - they kept going out of town to shop! Michael decided he'd focus his career on furniture & Kim snuck home decor & gifts into his business plan. Knotty and Board has two unique concepts: A design-focused decor & gift store in historic downtown Davidson & a large warehouse full of gorgeous furniture in Langtree just one exit up. Both stores are in Lake Norman, north of Charlotte and they love this Southern Life.
